MARA
LENNOX
Welcome to the Grown Era.
A woman can know her worth
and still want to be held.

Before the music,
there were
journal pages.
“I was writing my life before I ever thought about making an album.”Lynn Graham · Creator, Lyricist & Producer
Long before there was an album, Lynn Graham was writing through her life. Love, disappointment, desire, tenderness, self-worth—the things she was still trying to understand went onto private journal pages.
They were not written as songs. Years later, she returned to them with a different kind of understanding. At 55, she could recognize both the woman who had written those words and the woman she had become.
VELVET PRAYER — THE GROWN ERA grew from that distance: lived experience heard again, this time with music behind it. The details began in one woman’s life. The emotions made room for someone else to hear herself.

Softness,

The Grown Era is the point at which peace becomes attractive. Discernment becomes part of desire. Softness no longer means surrender. And loving someone no longer requires disappearing inside the relationship.
